The friendly Spider of the Neighborhood is back

Spiderman – No Way Home was released on Dec. 17, 2021. With Tom Holland in the main role as Spiderman/Peter Parker, Zendaya as Michelle Jones and Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, the last part of the Home-trilogy will probably write history in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Imagine Prep teacher Ben Andree’s expectations were high, not only because of the already announced comeback of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, both as Spiderman/Peter Parker, but also because he tried to avoid spoilers.

Andree went into seeing the movie with an open mind, not knowing much about the anticipated plot.

Junior Theresa Jolly said the movie exceeded all of her expectations.

No Way Home was also one of the few Marvel movies, next to Marvel’s Eternals that came out during Covid-19. The movie was a perfect “Welcome back” from the movie theaters to all the Marvel fans.

The producer did a very good job at not only introducing the ‘new’ characters and being able to emotionally move the crowd.

“It was like the surprises and the gasps and the cheers from being in the theater kind of gave a new element to see in the movie that I was really surprised by,” Andree said.

The favorite Spiderman of Andree would be Tom Holland, but he said each one has their “thing”.

Jolly’s favorite Spiderman is definitely Andrew Garfield.

“He is hot and I’ve watched him since I was younger,” she said.

All of them can clearly agree: It is definitely worth watching.

“You’ll miss a lot if you if haven’t seen the original Tobey Maguire or the Andrew Garfield ones, I think you will miss a lot of the fun,”  Andree added.

On a scale from one to 10 with, one being the worst and 10 being the best, Jolly would give a 20. Andree gave it an eight and a half.

“It will be tough to be a ten in any movie, so I’ll give it an eight point five,” he said.

The movie under the direction of Jon Watts is 2 hours 28 minutes long and produced by Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige in correlation with Columbia Pictures, Marvel Studios and Pascal Pictures with a $200 million budget.
