It is finally time for the holidays! Get festive for the holidays and enjoy a hot beverage to make you all warm and cozy and excited that the season is finally here!

I went into the Starbucks that is inside the bookstore,“Barnes and Noble”, to order my drink from the special menu that is available to the public during the holiday season. Some of the choices on the holiday menu, both cold and hot, includes the Eggnog latte, Caramel Brulee latte, Gingerbread Latte, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, and the Peppermint Mocha. The drink that I wanted to try out was the Peppermint Mocha. When I took my first sip, it was honestly delicious. It tasted like the perfect combination of peppermint and chocolate that I adore. It was extremely hot when I tasted it, so I waited for it to cool down a little so I could enjoy it more. Sadly, when I was able to drink the coffee without burning my tongue, the drink became unpleasantly bitter. I tried to taste it again to see if I would just get use to it, but unfortunately it still put a bad taste in my mouth. When I order coffee, I usually get a cold one, so I’m not used to drinking hot coffee compared to people that are. So that is great news for you if you are one of them! If you can handle the hot temperature of the coffee at first sip, and enjoy peppermint, I definitely recommend this drink to you because when it’s hot, it is very scrumptious. Overall I give this drink a ⅗ stars because I really liked it in the beginning but began to change my mind in the end. Have you ever tried the Peppermint Mocha?
