The Grinch

The Grinch

On Dec. 4th and Dec. 5th, the first shows of the year for the theater club will be held. The club will play ‘The Grinch’, which matches the upcoming Christmas season. But this year’s show will be different. The actors won’t actually say the lines, they will be mouthing it along with the cartoon movie.

Because of the Covid19 pandemic, the theatre club decided to perform one show on Dec. 4th at dinner time and one show on Dec. 5th in the morning. Both performances will be held in the gym. In order to keep everyone healthy and safe the dinner and brunch will have limited seating available.

Cindy Who Lou, one of the main characters, will be played by Lillian Davis (8th grade) and Sadie Perham (6th grade). The Grinch itself will be performed by Jordis Solper (8th grade) and Max the dog, the companion of the Grinch, will be played by Silas Horn (7th grade). In addition, there will be a soloist that will lip-sing the song ‘You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch’. The soloist will be Trinity Castaneda (7th grade).
