Let 2019 be your year!

It’s that time of the year again! There are only a few days left until New Year’s Eve and if you haven’t completed your 2018 resolution’s list yet, don’t worry. Now you can make a new one for the next year. 2019 is just around the corner, meaning it’s time to set new goals in your life and, hopefully, achieve them during the year.

During this season many people look back at the last 365 days to see how this year went for them, what goals they achieved, and what resolutions they did really complete. Everyone knows that a lot of New Year’s resolutions fail so this year try to put only things you can really achieve, be realistic. They don’t have to be big deals, don’t set goals you know you are not going to be able to achieve, instead focus more on little but impactful things, resolutions that you can work on every day. It can be as simple as bringing a smile every day to school or work, get in contact with old friends, be nice to people…

These could be some of your New Years resolutions:

-Spend less time with your phone

-Improve your grades

-Spend more time outside

-Spend more time with friends and family

-Start a healthy diet

-Stress less

-Exercise more

-Learn new things

-Discover new places

Kristen White, a senior at Imagine Prep Surprise, has set a few a goals for 2019, one of them is graduating.

“I hopefully pass this year, I’ll work more on getting my homework done and improving my grades,” White said.

Bet Garcia, an exchange student at Imagine Prep, has chosen some resolutions from this list and she’ll try to reach them next year.

“I have to spend less time with my phone, I use it too much and I would like to spend more time outside and enjoy the nature,” Garcia said.

Now it’s your time to set some goals and try to achieve them next year.

Good luck!!
