Super close to the Arrowhead Mall, Cafe Rio is a quaint and cute Mexican style restaurant in Peoria. The size of the restaurant is sort of small, with a couple of tables both in and out. The menu has various options to choose from including; burritos, salads, nachos, enchiladas, tacos, quesadillas, and more. My favorite food item is their nachos. Much like Subway and Chipotle, you start at the beginning of the line and work your way down, picking out all the toppings you want on your meal. Starting off with your choice of meat; in this case I chose chicken but some of the options include; chicken, beef, or pork. Then you choose black or pinto beans. Finally, you can add whatever you want to finish your masterpiece of nachos. I chose cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, and queso. I suggest that everyone gives this restaurant a try, I promise it is worth the drive.
