It’s That Time of Year Again!

With the holidays right around the corner, it’s a time for laughter and joy. Don’t stress about getting those holiday cards sent out or trying to remember what Timmy wanted for Christmas. Why not take some time out of your busy schedule to visit some local holiday events with your loved ones?
Glendale Glitters Holiday Weekends
Location: Downtown Glendale
Date: Friday and Saturday evenings Dec 1- Dec 16
Time: 6-10p.m. each night
Admission: FREE!!
Events:
December 1-2: Local favorite bands will perform; including Peppermint James (Friday) and Zimis (Saturday)
December 8-9: Snowfield! Just $2 to make a snowman, throw snowballs at your older siblings or make snow angels. Don’t forget your mittens!
December 15-16: Glendale firefighters charities will be onsite to raise money for their holiday toy/food drive, running a 50/50 raffle both Friday and Saturday evenings.
Other than the amazing events that will take place every weekend for the first three weeks of December, downtown Glendale will be lit up all the way until Jan. 6 with over 1.6 million ravishing lights!
Skate Westgate
Location: Westgate Entertainment District
Date: Nov 21- Jan 7 (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas day)
Time: Times vary depending on the day
Admission: Adults/Children: $15 (includes skate rentals) $11 (bring your own skates)
Toddlers: $11 (includes double-blade ice skate rental)
Military: $11 (with proper ID)
Seasonal Pass: $99 (includes admission + skate rental)

The holiday times can sometimes be the hardest times. Gifts to wrap, cards to mail, endless family gatherings, etc. This social gathering is for those who need a little help releasing some stress. We’ll share tips to “self-generate” positive emotions and transform emotions that lead to exhaustion. Especially for those who have lost loved ones and can’t be with us around this time anymore. What’s a better gift to yourself than a better version of yourself?
