Arianna’s Corner
On July 6th, 2022, Arianna Gannon was taken from her family and friends in a car accident. Arianna Mirabelle Gannon had just been promoted from the fifth grade at Imagine Rosefield this past year.
Dr. Jonathan Gannon, Arianna’s father, stated that she was beyond excited to attend school at Imagine Prep for middle school and couldn’t wait to walk the same halls as her five older siblings. After visiting the school’s campus, Arianna had even described her excitement to attend Imagine Prep in her journal.
Bob Bowley, a middle school teacher at Imagine Prep, stated that Arianna’s corner would allow other students and teachers to read about the things Arianna loved.
“We at Imagine Prep want to honor Arianna’s memory by encouraging others to share her love of reading and learning,” Bowley said.
Arianna’s corner will be a space filled with books to borrow and return for every student and teacher at Imagine Prep. The lending library will be opening on Monday, Oct. 17, at 4:30 p.m., with a reception afterward in the gym.
“We couldn’t have imagined a greater outpouring of support from either school until Imagine Prep contacted us with a touching proposal,” Gannon said. “They hoped to make Arianna’s wish of being a part of the Imagine Prep family come true by creating and dedicating a school lending library in Arianna’s memory.”
