November Athlete of the Month

November is here, and its that time of the month where new stars emerge from the prep within their sports. Chasing The Storm sat down with four of these athletes to have a chat with them regarding how their season is coming along. First Chasing The Storm sat down with Breanna Avila who is in the 11th grade and plays Volleyball.

What is something that you enjoy about playing Volleyball ?

I enjoy getting wins, and being around my team and having a good time.

What position are you ?

Libero

What is your favorite memory about the season ?

It would have to be the team bus ride going to semi finals, because everyone’s energy was up, it was a lot of fun!

Next Chasing the Storm sat down with Nolan Casaccio who is in the 9th grade and plays Football.

Quarterback

What do you enjoy about playing Football ?

I enjoy the energy my team has in our games.

Favorite memory?

Dumping water on coach.

Additionally, Chasing The Storm headed over to the Junior High Athletics to see the up and coming stars that have been thriving as of late. First Chasing The Storm sat down with Rigley Garrison who is a 6th grader and plays Volleyball.

I am a Setter.

What do you enjoy about playing Volleyball ?

Building a relationship with teammates.

I like being around my team and spending time with them.
