Shake+it+off

Smooth vanilla custard with delectable Reese’s peanut butter cups. Delicious on their own, decadent together. Though, that’s only if it’s done correctly. Then, it is the best thing I have ever tasted. If not, well, it’s just sub par and not worth the money.

Culver’s Restaurant has a custard menu that’ll let you chose your add-ins and toppings. After taking the time to decide (which I did not have a lot of, my parents were rushing me), I decided to go with a simple vanilla shake and add in some crushed Reese’s. The blend of vanilla, chocolate, and peanut butter has always been a favorite for me.

Sadly, I found the taste a bit boring. Although the taste was good, it wasn’t as good as some other places I’ve had. The pieces of Reese’s were too big and not evenly distributed throughout the vanilla custard. Most of the pieces of Reese’s all stayed on the top half of the shake. The shake itself was a bit too thick to drink with a straw, so I had to eat it with a spoon. Not that I was given a straw to drink from. But the taste was not nearly as good as I expected from Culver’s. I would only rate this a three out of five stars. It wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t the worst.

A bland taste and a disappointing trip. That was my experience in order to get the shake. I expect better from Culver’s. They usually are so much better.
