Hop, Hop, Hop! Here comes the Easter Bunny as Easter comes  around. Bright colors, beautiful eggs, and chocolate are being eagerly awaited by people of all ages. But with these religious and fun filled time there are sure to come great memories that are bound to be made and cherished for years. Here are some of the best Easter memories that students at Imagine Prep have had:

Emma Schmidt:
Age: 13

Easter Memory: My most memorable Easter memory would be two years ago, because it was my last year in Maricopa and we went to church on an egg hunt and stuff.

Impact: This occasion has impacted me, because it was my last Easter in my hometown.

Jade Christon:

 Age: 13

Grade: 7th

Easter Memory: My most memorable Easter Memory was when I first went to church for Easter. This was memorable because it was my first time I had Easter at a church and it was amazing to have so many people.

Theresa Jolly:

Age: 12

Grade: 7th

Easter Memory: Four years ago my most memorable Easter memory was when my mom and Aunt hid the Easter eggs. The dogs were outside and my mom and Aunt were done so it was time for the hunt. My mom said whoever finds the Easter eggs first wins. One of the eggs had 20 dollars in it and no one could find it. My dog ate all the eggs AND the money.

Impact: It was funny and sad because no one got the money.

Maya Ortiz:

Maya Ortiz with her friends.

Grade: 8th

Easter  Memory: My most memorable Easter memory was when I was Easter egg hunting with my family and friends. I was probably six at the so it most likely took place in 2011. This is my most memorable Easter moment because of how happy I had been when I was competing against my family to get the most Easter eggs.

Impact: This impacted me because it was the last time I would hunt Easter eggs with my childhood friends before they moved to South Dakota so this memory is actually a little bittersweet.

Ally Pack-Adair:

                                                    Age: 14

Grade: 8th

Easter  Memory: My favorite Easter memory is probably my brothers first Easter when I was about 12. It was really fun to be able to hide his eggs and see him all excited. It was happy because I liked being able to help him have fun

Impact:  It made me closer to my brother and it was nice to start Easter traditions with him.

Imagine prep student :

                                                         Grade: 12th

Easter Memory: When I was in elementary school my family and I went camping. I remember walking up to the Easter basket next to me, and being so happy. Getting up my parents told us to get dressed and that they had a surprise for us. We walked into this huge grass field covered in flowers and were told that the Easter Bunny had hidden some eggs for us. We are released to find them searching under rocks, in the streams, and in the small pine tree saplings.

Impact: I ended up with a full bag of Easter eggs, I remember feeling so proud that I had found so many eggs.

Macy Joyner :

                                                           Age: 18 years old

Grade:  Senior

Easter Memory: Every Easter my family and I have Easter-Brunch. This is a time for us to all bond and get together. This has always been our main tradition since we all love to eat a big meal then go home to sleep. We started this tradition when I was seven-years-old and we have stuck to it ever since. We usually eat at a new place  each year. This  year we ate at Cracker Barrel. This relaxing brunch allows distant family and I to catch up and reconnect. A lot of                                                                us are too busy to talk everyday, so this gives  us the chance to discuss                                                                                new things. I want to continue this tradition with my kids one day.

Impact: It’s always a very joyful experience. My family takes pride in our love for each other and it really shows when we are together. I also feel like it was bittersweet. Our group has gotten smaller and smaller over the years because people are growing up and moving. I love that we are all going after our dreams and down new paths, but at the same time it is hard to say goodbye.
